”Stayed here in February. Check-in was quiet, staff are friendly and helpful. Our room was number 5 and was beautiful with modern equipment. It nice and warm in our room throughout our stay. No need to go out, just get parked and have your evening meal in the pub/restaurant, I can recommend the fish & chips. If you are looking for accommodation in this area, I would definitely recommend Pack Horse. ”

”room was not cleaned. The bed was left dirty from the previous occupant, a sanitary wrapper was on the bed, toilet was soiled, wet towels on the bed, dirty drinks cups. No room change could be offered, I requested refund which I was told needed to come from Expedia. I have now emailed Expedia 3 times and await their verdict on whether they will refund my money. ”

”We stayed 1 night and did not use any of the facilities or eat there. The room we stayed in was great. A really comfortable super kibg sized bed, massive wslk in shower, good tea and coffee facilities in our room. It was quiet, so we had a good nights sleep (just what we wanted). I would stay again. ”

”The Bridge is a lovely place to stay and the staff were all very helpful and friendly. It was nice to have windows that open properly - and onto the river which is pretty. Easy parking and a good breakfast. Highly recommended.”

”Really disappointing experience at Embankment Kitchen. Despite booking a table in advance, we were left waiting far too long. When we arrived, several staff members were clearly present but nobody acknowledged us or even said, “we’ll be with you shortly.” We were simply left standing there wondering what was going on. Service throughout was extremely slow and disorganised. There appeared to be very little communication between staff, which showed in the lack of coordination and attention. When...

”Very clean room, well equipped. Excellent dinner and breakfast in the beautiful inn.”

”Although it was clean the room that I had this time needed some upgrading, for example there was no toilet roll holder, just holes in the wall where it had been, grout was missing between the bathroom floor tiles. The walk from the car park was completely dark and uneven/potholed. That made it unsafe. However, the staff made up for the poor impression that condition of the premises. Very good breakfast and good service.”
