Excellent hotel, everything worked fine
Everything worked out fine for us. Location is perfect for roaming around the city, lot of good restaurants also in near areas. Also communication to messaging before check in was fluent.

Perfect location, good value for the money
The location was great. The hotel is located on the only quiet street in the neighborhood when all the other streets were full of bars, restaurants and shops. Only about 150 meters from the closest metro station and a few minutes walk to the Royal Castle, Opera and many more attractions. If you arrive with a car, note that you need to inform your hotel about it since all the cars entering the area are recorded by automatic cameras and unless you live there or your hotel informs the authorities, you will get a fine of 90 euros. The room was clean, tidy and comfortable. Bathroom was ok. We would have wanted just a bit more space since there wasn't enough room to store our luggage (only two carry on pieces). We didn't use any other facilities of the hotel. Overall it was a pleasant experience and I would recommend this hotel to other travelers.

Hotelli on siisti ja hyvällä paikalla. Varatessa emme löytäneet vaihtoehtoa jossa aamiainen olisi sisältyny hintaan. Intternet yhteys oli todella hidas.

Nukuin hiljaisessa ja siistissä huoneessa!
Meninas hotelli oli lähellä siistiä aluetta (Opera metropysäkki lähellä). Erinomainen sijainti turistiviikkoani ajatellen. Huone oli hiljainen ja rauhallinen. Kuntosali oli pettymys. Se sijaitsi eri hotellin tiloissa (joutui kiertämään ulkokautta), oli pieni sekä ahdas. Kaiken lisäksi vastaanoton naisvirkailija yritti ottaa kuntosalin käytöstä erillistä maksua, vaikka huoneen kansiossa ilmoitettiin että "Hotelli Meninas asiakkaille ilmainen". ..Ja vaikka pyysin saada keskustella toisen henkilön (tai esimiehen) kanssa, tätä hän ei noteerannut lainkaan. Tämä yksi työntekijä pilasi hotellin palvelustunnelman täysin ainakin minun kohdalla... Yöllä pidin villapaitaa jotta tarkenin marraskuun kylmyydestä huolimatta. Yhden hengen huone todella pieni, mutta riittävä. Huone oli erittäin siisti ja siivoushenkilökunta oli kohtelias. Madrid oli täynnä mielenkiintoista katseltavaa! Nautin lomamatkastani :)

Good choice, hyvä valinta
This nice quiet family owned (?) hotel has an excellent location. Our junior suite had beds for three people. One of those was sofa bed. Bathroom was big enough and good equipped. Our windows were to light yard, so no view at all. This was good because the room was quiet, no traffic sounds. Hotel's staff in the reception were friendly and helpful.

Hotellin sijainti loistava, mutta yhden hengen huone oli pimeä kanakoppi eikä lattioita oltu siivottu kunnolla, pölyä joka paikassa. Kaikki äänet kuuluivat läpi, hissin ääni, suikun äänet muista huoneista jne... En tiedä, millaisia ovat sitten ko. hotellissa muut huoneet?

Lovely stay at Hotel Meninas; conveniently located and was provided everything we needed including any extra towels/slippers. The only thing was that the wifi connection in the suite was extremely poor and didn't work for majority of our trip (only appeared to work in the washroom). Asides from that, staff were great and they held our luggage for us on the day we checked out as our flight was later in the day.

El hotel super cute a la Antigua me encanto. La decoración. Las chicos del front desk son sumamente dulces serviciales y educados el desayuno esta súper divino con mucha variedad Que si lo recomiendo si la verdad. La ubicación perfecta para salir a caminar todo está cerca. Lo único es que e pedido balcón y no me lo dieron. Al parecer no hice bien la reservación. Pero del resto todo genial.

Perfect hotel for first trip to Madrid. Lovely boutique renovation and interior design. Friendly, helpful staff. Small room with good layout, not at all cramped. Appreciated the very quiet room, comfortable bed and pillows. Excellent breakfast buffet. I would definitely stay here again

Very friendly and helpful staff. Street was noisy, but it was a Saturday night, so understandable. Breakfast buffet was superior and nicely presented.

The hotel is very noisy and people smoke in the hallways. The rooms are small but clean. The plus side there lots of dining options close by.

Enjoyed staying at this motel immensly. Great location, near the metro and many eating option near by. The hotel staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The room (for 3 adults) wasn't big but it was clean and roomy enough for the 3 of us to enjoy.

Muy bien ubicada puedes ir andando a todos los lugares del Centro de Madrid. El personal q trabaja ahí es muy amable con sus clientes , espero poder regresar en otro momento.

This hotel was located in a convenient area for walking to the Plaza Mayor, the Palace, and other Sue’s as well as shopping and restaurants and a Metro Stop.

We had transportation issues and ended up arriving in Madrid a day earlier than expected and booked this hotel at the last minute. We're happy that we did. Service was great. Our room was large and newly renovated. When we return to Madrid, we would definitely stay here again and for a much longer stay.

The reception staff here were exceptionally helpful, especially as we arrived early in the morning and well before check-in time. The location is fabulous - easy walking distance to the Royal Palace, shopping, restaurants, Gran Via, everything, or the metro is just at the end of the street. We had a quad room for 3 adults, which was a good size and the curtain separating the two sleeping areas allowed for some privacy. The buffet breakfast had a good selection, and the small supermarket directly across the road was an added bonus for picking up snacks. We also stayed at another hotel in Madrid but next time this would be my first pick. I highly recommend it!
