”Good hotel and good swiming pool. Good restaurants around”

”I requested breakfast but was told they didn’t do it anymore. The stairs were cramped with 2 turns and inadequate/absent rails. We did not meet any staff. There was a note saying how we could ring them. The hot and cold water at the wash basin were plumbed in the wrong way round. I did not see any indicator for which was hot or cold. It matters because this is where you fill the kettle. The bed was comfortable and the room was warm.”

”Staff very welcoming and family room was very clean. Only issue is that a family room likely to have children had no blind or curtains in the bathroom and you entered the shower alongside this window. This window overlooks the High Street which I would suggest is not suitable. Also- who still has a flimsy plastic toilet seat? Wooden one required. Food was fantastic in the bar. Would stay again.”

”Hotel is in a good location ( near train station ) + local buses for travel all around the west midlands and beyond. Hotel is clean and quiet. You really do not interact with staff as they are only there ( if needed) upon check in.”

”Really nice hotel with friendly staff and stunning decor. Great breakfast and a fun games room. Avoid Robert Peel Room as it’s above the bar and can be noisy at night.”

”Good value for money and very friendly staff. Good location and easy to park car. It was nice that they had a sign reminding people about silence time as the soundproofing wasn't good. ”

”Dirt in the room and under the bed. Staff generally good. Booking came with a room upgrade due to status. Room upgrade didn’t occur despite the hotel being empty and having availability on their website. Emailed the hotel through Expedia app (replying to the message they sent me) asking questions. That was ignored and not responded to. Dinner food quality was poor considering my the level they quote themselves to be at and prices charged. Ice cream for dessert clearly suffering from freezer burn...

”Good location for the NEC and Birmingham airport. Lovely rooms and amazing food.”

”The only negative thing was the air conditioner which only expelled warm or hot air. Otherwise no complaints. We pretty much got what we expected. The walk to the Resorts World Arena was less than 10 minutes. Awesome.”

”Lovely host, very helpful & pleasant, parking directly outside our room which was a good size & very clean. Lovely surroundings with horses in the stables to say hello to. Great directions for walking to our concert at bp pulse about 15 mins away. The breakfast was very nice & served very quickly. Would definitely stay again & highly recommend.”
