”Lovely pub, friendly staff. We only stayed 1 night but the rooms were very clean and had everything you needed. The breakfast was cooked beautifully and really tasty. We would have had diner there but unfortunately it was the Christmas market on within Tarvin that evening so no food was served other than a stall outside. Free parking for people staying in the pub. Within a 15 min drive into Chester - Wouldn’t hesitate to go back. An enjoyable if not brief visit. ”

”Hotel was good , breakfast really tasty staff were amazing . Bar staff were also amazing shout out to Henry who made my wifes espresso martinis thank you sir. Reception staff so friendly and helpful Now my only moan is the room , it was very clean but i could hear ever footstep from the room above Tv in another room . Overall it was really nice hotel and i would stay again but i would probably upgrade room ”

”Excellent breakfast, fresh hot and cold food with great choice of options. Staff were really helpful and friendly. Room was lovely and clean as was the rest of the hotel. Nice cozy bar. Excellent location for as we like to be near tourist attractions, restaurants and bars (all were 4-10 min walk from hotel) but off the main bit so it was quiet at the hotel. Close to railway also. ”

”Hôtel très bien situé, facilement accessible de la gare ou de la gare routière. Le centre ville n'est pas très loin non plus, les balades le long du canal sont plutôt agréables. Je recommande vivement cet établissement pour un séjour à Chester.”

”Dusty room issues with grout , tablet on floor ? Extension lead faulty noisy cistern noisy air ductwork… during night .generally old fittings. Request renovated room . Most staff are ok . Breakfast good and brasserie still nice .”
