This stylish, modern villa for 5 people is right on a lovely beach, with fine sand and crystal-clear sea. It is the perfect holiday-home for anybody looking for a relaxing vacation in the sun. Ideally situated close to many of Salento’s most famous sites, guests can combine the best of both worlds: beautiful beaches and fascinating history.

The villa has 2 separate entrances and 3 terraces. One at the front which looks out over the private garden to the sea beyond. This terrace, which is off the living room, has armchairs and a coffee table and makes an ideal spot for coffee or a relaxing glass of wine. The terrace at the back, which leads off the kitchen, is semi shaded and furnished with a dining table and chairs, for meals al fresco. There is also an outside shower and laundry facilities. A wide staircase from the back terrace leads up to the stunning roof terrace. This is semi shaded and has panoramic sea views. It is furnished with a small table and sun loungers where guests can relax in total privacy.

Inside the villa there is an airy living room with wide glass doors and wonderful sea views. It is furnished with a sofa, a dining table and chairs. The separate kitchen/diner is off the main hallway. It has modern, fitted units and is equipped with a cooker hob, oven, fridge/freezer, coffee machine and a dining table and chairs. A glass door leads out to the back terrace.

Sleeping
Bedroom 1: The light-filled master bedroom with views over the sea, has a double bed, a single bed and a large wardrobe.
Bedroom 2: This second bedroom has a comfortable double bed.

Bathroom
The bathroom has a shower, basin, bidet and WC.
Extra: There is an outdoor shower on the rear terrace.

Location
The villa is in the small town of Torre Specchia Ruggieri, just 7 minutes up the coast from the resort of San Foca. It is just 50 meters from the lovely Orso Beach with fine golden sand and pristine sea. Local amenities, shops, restaurants and bars are all within 5 minutes drive from the villa.

The peaceful town of Melendugno (13 minutes) makes a lovely day out. There are some interesting churches, as well as a 12th-century abbey, a small castle and several excellent restaurants. The weekly market (Wednesday) is a source of the best local ingredients to cook at home.

Further afield is Lecce (25 minutes), the “Florence of the South”. It is blessed with wonderful Baroque architecture as well as Roman ruins. It is a jewel of a city and well worth a visit. Not only for its long history but also for its excellent food and good shopping.

To get into nature the WWF nature reserve of Le Cesine is just 8 minutes from the villa. Or for golfers, there are 2 golf clubs near the town of Acaya (10 minutes)

The closest airport is at Brindisi - just an hour away by car.
