”All the staff we met were extremely friendly and helpful. The spa area was very convenient and well maintained. We ate in the Pantry several times and the food was delicious. ”We were greeted by Chris when we checked in after long day exploring Cotswold. We decided to stay in and booked a reservation for dinner. We had steak and Seabass and both meals were cooked to a perfection. All the courses were delicious from starter to dessert. The bed, bedding, linens, and soaps were luxury without loosing the characters of the house..and clean. All the staff were super friendly and very helpful. ”Beautiful manor house. The room was good, not to my taste in terms of design (everything brown, photos on the website were showing different designs) but all of good quality. My husband didn't find the pillows comfortable (too big) but it was fine for me. The only inconvenience was that the cooked breakfast takes a long time to wait as you order it, literally like dinner waiting time. We tried to solve that by ordering to the room by a certain time the next day but they still brought it 20min...

”This is a great hotel to stay in for a nice break in Bath. The location is perfect. When you leave the hotel door it’s a short walk in either direction to get you into the center of Bath. The staff are really polite and were helpful with suggestions on restaurants and things to do. Our room was superb. At the back of the hotel overlooking what I believe is part of the rugby ground. ”Overall a great place to stay if exploring the area. Our room was spacious and comfortable. The large bathroom had a walk-in shower and lovely roll top bath. Very cosy bed and good quality linen. Tea, coffee and water tray provided. Some biscuits would have been nice. Negative was the room was very warm and we could not open windows.
