”Friendly owner showed us to our room and explained relevant things to us before we headed out again. The room was comfortable and clean, breakfast was cooked to order and very nice. We would return here. ”

”For an extended or a brief stop in Southport, this hotel is an excellent choice. A few minutes from both the station and the coast, this gives you access to all the corners you are likely to want to visit in Southport.

”I booked a sea view room. Stunning views over the Promenade.
Look, it’s a very old hotel, so maintenance is needed constantly. Creaking floor boards and dated corridors. That comes with the territory.
My room was superb, clean and bright. I was pleasantly surprised by the breakfast (12.50) if a walk in. Piping hot, good selection, spotlessly clean. Comfortable bed, nice and quiet, very helpful reception staff.”

”Yes there are shops in the area also cafes. There is a small parking area which is free when you book in. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The hotel was clean and the room was clean and comfortable. ”

”We stayed 3 nights, very friendly and helpful staff, if we required anything kirsty was more than happy to help and wanted to ensure our stay was confortable.
Location: 2 minutes walk to south pier, Location was great close to trams, lots of food places (takeaways & restaurants)
Hotel needs a little TLC and new mattress but its very obvious that kirsty and staff have been making improvements to make the hotel better.
Parking less than min walk and is £15 a day.
We will 100% book to come...

”We absolutely love this hotel. The rooms are clean and the beds really comfortable. It could do with an update and refurb in certain areas but this doesn't affect the quality of the stay. The staff are very friendly and happy to help in any way they can. It's location is perfect as it's close to South pier, a tram stop, shops and the pleasure beach. We will be making further bookings in the future.”

”We didn't stay at the hotel for a number of reasons. Firstly, the surrounding area was deprived with half the buildings either boarded up or in disrepair. Secondly, having a 'seaview' and being a 'boutique' hotel is debatable, but definitely not from the outward appearance of the property. It was scruffy and needed maintenance to the paintwork and front door. Thirdly, to be made to stand outside ringing a bell for 30 minutes is unacceptable and shows poor customer service.
