Staying at Baita Milanese is like being transported to an Alpine chalet: the owner is from Cadore and wanted to recreate a mountain atmosphere. The apartment is cozy, with a large living room, a beautiful, fully equipped kitchen, a dining area, and a sofa that converts into two single beds. The bedroom is spacious and features a separate area for remote work, a TV, and a closet. A bathroom with a large shower and air conditioning round out the apartment, which is uniquely located just 8 subway stops from Duomo and 4 from Cadorna.



The Space

Living here means immersing yourself in the life of a typical Milanese neighborhood, while enjoying a peaceful and charming retreat in a quiet, green neighborhood equipped with every convenience.

The apartment is on the mezzanine floor of a 1920s building and overlooks a very peaceful inner courtyard.

There are just a few steps to the entrance.

Large windows let plenty of light into every room.

The kitchen is fully equipped for cooking and cleaning up: espresso machine, kettle, dishwasher, refrigerator with freezer, induction cooktop, and combination oven.

The home features two areas for sitting and working remotely in the master bedroom, as well as a total of 5 beds, perfect for a large family or group of friends.

The bathroom features a large walk-in shower, a sink, a toilet, a washing machine, and a ceiling-mounted clothesline.

From traditional trattorias to the trendiest spots, you’ll be spoiled for choice when it comes to dining out or enjoying an aperitif with friends right in the square. There’s also no shortage of gyms and sports centers.

The area is extremely well-served. Just a short walk from Piazza Gambara, with the M1 subway stop heading toward downtown, you’ll find supermarkets, neighborhood shops, pharmacies, banks, and all the essential services. There’s also no shortage of small artisan shops and neighborhood markets that help create a lively and authentic atmosphere, such as the Thursday market on Via Osoppo, one of the city’s most popular for its excellent fruits and vegetables. Just a short walk away is a large supermarket offering groceries, household items, plants, and flowers, as well as a bistro serving delicious breakfasts.

A ten-minute walk takes you to the elegant De Angeli-Marghera neighborhood, with many restaurants, high-quality shops, ice cream parlors, including Middle Eastern pastry shops, and continuing on to Piazza Wagner, you’ll find the historic covered market, lovely shops, cafes, and the very pleasant Via Belfiore with many shops selling handmade Italian shoes.



Getting Around the Area

To get here fromMalpensa Airport by the Malpensa Express train, take the M1 line from Cadorna Station toward Bisceglie and get off at Gambara; from there, it’s just a short walk down the tree-lined Via Palma.

You can also take the blue line (M4) and the red line (M1) to get from Linate Airport in 40 minutes.

From Gambara, take the subway to Cadorna to transfer to the M2 line, which serves all train stations.
