I had booked the hotel for 7 days, the receiptionist are fast, the hotel location is good and the rooms are large. However, I could hear the sound of water running through the pipes during the night whenever anyone in surrounding room was using the washroom! It didn’t let me sleep as it happened quit a lot during the night. I mentioned this to the receiptionist after the second night, and he said we are fully booked and we can change your room tomorrow, I fully understood as it was rather late when I asked for changing my room. I went to the receptionist next day in the morning, this time the lady told me that we have only executive rooms available and I should pay the room price difference to be able to move to the new room! I was attending a conference all days long and I am pregnant and a good sleep at night was crucial for me. It is not right and fair to ask for extra fee when the issue is the noise of the room! I ended up moving out after 6 nights.
