”This is an old building, so expect quirky! My room had a sloping floor. Everything was clean and comfortable. Bathroom sparkling and modern. Breakfast hot and cold options.”

”Staff were really great and welcoming. Water pressure wasn’t great but otherwise it was a lovely stay Thankyou.”

”Excellent stay, felt very welcoming upon arrival. Was even offered a room with a larger bed due to my height, but the bed and the room we booked was amazing. Looking forward to our next stay.”

”What a wonderful stay we had at Walter. The house is very well maintained with lots of thoughtful little extras and decorations. Communication with the property owners worked like a charm, key was on site with a code sent to us for opening the box directly at the front door. We would love to come back, enjoyed our time at this fantastic little cottage.”

”Amazing three story cottage with excellent views. Just be aware of the requirement to pull bags up a laneway. Best before dark to find it. Very quiet area.”

”Amazing house”

”We loved the location staff was helpful however there are signs of wear and tear everywhere. Worn carpets, chunks of plaster missing pieces of wood off the doors missing and non working light bulbs in the room. I’m hoping it’s because it’s the end of a busy season and they plan on repairing everything in the winter. Restaurant was nice but seemed a little understaffed. Had to get up and go to the bar to get a refill of my wine after waiting and waiting. Food was good”

”Had a lovely stay in the loft! The views were fantastic, and the location was amazing—perfectly situated with easy access to other areas. The hosts were incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made the stay even more enjoyable. Would definitely recommend staying here!”

”We have stayed all over Cornwall and this is without a doubt the best place we have stayed. It was quiet, relaxing and calm and the decor, calming music and room amenities made it a perfect setting for a relaxing break. The owners are helpful and pay great detail in making sure your stay is the best possible. We would definitely return”

”Parking was a challenge when disabled and no one to ask for help however the staff were able to help once I was inside the building”

”Fantastic hotel! Thank you”

”Excellent location, spotless room, staff very polite and friendly. Need training too slow. Breakfast very good. Unbeatable sea view”
