”This is a perfect-off the beaten path getaway. It is close enough to the city to enjoy its conveniences but just far enough away to feel you’ve escaped. The house was eclectic and comfortable. We loved opening the doors and listening to the birds. We really enjoyed our stay and highly recommend.”

”My 16 year old daughter and I LOVED this homey cottage. The host is wonderful and helpful where he responded in a timely manner to questions. The washer and dryer are not in this "charming cottage", but at the front of the property by the container and mail boxes where they are accessible. This cottage is located at the back of the property and it is very quiet. I took several pictures and included this one because it shows more of the very nice kitchen area. We plan to come back and working...

”Restful and a great escape!”

”Nice quiet adventure in a shipping container ..which sounds like it's cramped but it was really roomy. Nice little alpaca tour where we learned about the alpacas. The host provided some really nice extra such as coffee creamer, pancake mix eggs how nice it was to have farm fresh eggs. Also some really nice alpaca made products. You can purchase there as well for a very nice price. Very reasonable in my opinion. You are also very close to other attractions such as going into San Antonio....

”My family and I fully enjoyed every minute at the Hill Country Cottage in the woods, our experience at this pretty and charming house was like staying in an enchanted cottage in a magic forest.”

”Easy check in, close to water, private potty area for the pet, comfortable and shady back area. Needed a sweeping of the spider webs in the porch area. Bed room needs some dark curtains as it was just like daylight at night. Other than that, this part of the creek is our favorite in the area that we do not share with anyone. See you next year!”

”Our stay was amazing! Everything is in walking distance, the Casitas # 3 was just perfect. The bed was SO comfortable I really didnt want to get up in the morning. River access is amazing !!! I am already to go back, I really wish we did not have to leave. We will definitely be booking again!!!”
