Cozy apartment in the Marigny

Summary:
The Marigny is an eclectic neighborhood next to the French Quarter. The area is filled with beautiful historic homes, cafes, bars and fine restaurants.
The apartment is situated less than a 10 minute walk to Frenchman Street and the French Quarter.

The Space:
A comfortable private apartment featuring a queen sized bed and a twin trundle which can sleep four comfortably. We can also offer a sofa and air mattresses.
It is fully furnished and has a full kitchen, WiFi, satellite TV, central heat and air conditioning. We provide all sheets, towels, basic toiletries,hair dryer, iron and ironing board.
We do not have any off-street parking but street parking is readily available (unless it's carnival season!) and not restricted . We also offer a lush courtyard where you enter the apartment, as well as a very tropical pool and covered patio area that is furnished with rattan furniture . Very relaxing.

Guest Access:
The guests will have access to a small courtyard.
Smoking is not allowed in the property, but it is allowed in the courtyard and the covered patio by the pool. Lovely rattan sofa and chairs for relaxing by the pool.

The Neighborhood:
The Marigny is very friendly with lots of neighborhood bars and coffee shops as well as eclectic restaurants. We are a short walk to Frenchmen St. 5 blocks and 7 blocks to French Quarter. Mere steps to bars and restaurants such as Feelings, Silk Road, Mimi's, the Franklin and the Cake Cafe. 4 blocks from the St. Roch Market and trendy St. Claude Avenue.

Getting Around:
It is 5 blocks to Frenchman street & 7 blocks to the French quarter. An ideal location.
Bike rental is available 4 blocks away.
a public bus to the French Quarter departs close to the property. Close to streetcars. Uber is less than 5.00 from the French Quarter. Donnie also drives our guest and neighbors around town for a small fee. You do not need a car unless you want to bring one.

Other Things to Note:
higher prices apply during special events
ie: jazz fest, French Quarter Fest, July 4., Halloween, New Years Eve, Sugar Bowl, and Mardi Gras.

Interaction with Guests:
I live on the property and will almost always be available to offer help and advice to my guests to make the most of their stay.
