”Was a first time in Maui and in this hotel. Got an upgrade to a studio with a kitchen and a balcony. The room was awesome and super clean and comfortable! All the neccessary kitchen supplies to make breakfast, lunch ot whatever. Microwave, stove, oven, large fridge and freezer. The bed was excellent to sleep in. ”A very underwhelming experience. A property whose glory days are behind it. We got a message a few days in advance that the air conditioning will be out of order until June. Not a big deal, but it left a sour taste that the attendant in check-in told us "I just heard that the air conditioniong in your room is out of order". Doesn't feel royal -they should renovate the place
"This resort is really outdated (atleast the tower were we stayed – they were doing some renovations there though) We were happy that we only booked one night. It is really close to Kailua-Kona center (but was quiet still which was great), so it was walkable and the trolley takes you to some beaches. "
