”Location was fine, food mediocre, staff not interested when made a few useful suggestions. Needs an upgrade”

”The hotel is beautiful, the rooms were quite small, but nicely decorated. The one thing that bothered us was that the first room we got, smelled so badly of mold we had to change rooms. The breakfast was in a beautiful restaurant and it was quite nice, but the chairs were so dirty I couldn't sit on the one in my table because I had a white skirt on. The hotel is beautiful, but in need of tlc.”

”Nice venue with comfortable surroundings. Bar and dining areas are nice and welcoming. Bedrooms are good value, a bit dated but again comfortable and would recommend ”

”The front desk staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming. The breakfast is delicious and the location in Lickey Hills is fantastic. The stay was relaxing and comfortable. ”

”Staff were lovely, very welcoming. Good choice of beers, room was clean and tidy, very quiet considering at a crossroads. Would definitely stay again.”

”Breakfast was not nice, bathroom had no extraction so steamed up very quickly, couldn’t find any heating in bathroom so it was cold ”

”Room not the cleanest, false fingernail and tissue left by the side of the bed and thick dust on the top of the oak beam. Breakfast was excellent but the table was very sticky. Bedroom front door did not close properly and let a large of cold air into the room”

”The rooms were clean, although there was a noticeable smell throughout, possibly from cleaning products or the carpets. Otherwise everything was great. The room was tidy, the breakfast was fresh and hot, and the staff were very helpful.”

”Dirt in the room and under the bed. Staff generally good. Booking came with a room upgrade due to status. Room upgrade didn’t occur despite the hotel being empty and having availability on their website. Emailed the hotel through Expedia app (replying to the message they sent me) asking questions. That was ignored and not responded to. Dinner food quality was poor considering my the level they quote themselves to be at and prices charged. Ice cream for dessert clearly suffering from freezer burn...
