”We likes this hotel very much. If you like to see something else than the chain hotels,which look exactly the same wherever in the world you are then choose this one. We had a king room with harbour view. It was marvellous. Good reef-top bar, dinner at the surf house was superb. Service was great. What we did not like was the breakfast. ”Leaving your phone on a taxi when you go completely paperless can be scary experience. The hotel staff turned it into a good one.”

”If you’re looking for a relatively inexpensive, stay, this hotel isn’t too bad. However, the air conditioning barely keeps up and is not cooling the hallways as they advertise. The staff are fairly friendly and do their best, but it’s definitely a no-frills hotel. Also, even though it is directly across from the airport, the route you have to take and the amount of elevation makes it difficult if not impossible. Allow for a taxi ride from the airport if you’re going to go directly to the hotel.”

”We had a two-storey room with a sea view and it was really nice. The view was amazing over a black beach facing the island of Moorea. The service in the hotel was good. The restaurant was full on Friday and you have to take a taxi to get to Papeete so if you want to eat in the hotel make sure to make a table reservation in advance. The breakfast buffet was not much but as it was not included in our stay we preferred a la carte breakfast which was good and affordable. ”

”Important: if using Google Maps, make sure to turn right immediately after the Vini Vini in the commercial area. The old location leads to the maintenance area and no way to enter the lobby. A beautiful location with the best view of the sunset but the hotel needs some TLC. The rooms themselves are clean and pleasant, but the elevators and stairwells are very dirty. ”All was good. Things were a little dated but everything was clean an working. Really liked the setting with the little porches around the pool and all the gardens. We arrived late, cooked dinner in the kitchenette and swam in the pool with the night lighting. Very nice atmosphere. Only thing we didn't like was the noise on the road from behind - was on the weekend and could here several loud motor bikes going by throughout the night.”
