”Great place, very peaceful ”

”Wonderful family stay at Casa Azul Maya! We did have a ground floor room which was a bit more humid - but the AC kept it cool and it was fine for all of us. Beds were comfortable, staff helpful and room was cleaned everyday with fresh bath and beach towels as needed. The partnership with Loretta’s was perfect; amazing breakfasts, access to pool and ocean were picturesque. South side of the island is much calmer and slower pace -with great food, coffee and Punta Sur—- we’d come back in a heart...

”We enjoyed our stay at Bella Mar! We stayed in room #1 by the pool. The AC was cold and the room was clean. The views are beautiful. You have full use of the outdoor kitchen and the full size refrigerator is shared by all 6 rooms. Plenty of space for drinks etc. Caribbean Garden next door was excellent for breakfast and dinner. Another coffee shop is in the same area that looked good, but we didn't get anything there. Mango Cafe and Rosa Serenas are both within walking distance. Would...

”This resort was definitely worth the money! Food was fantastic, the drinks were perfect, and the property was absolutely what you want for relaxing getaway. We have stayed on the island at times, but this was the first time at this resort, we did not feel like we had to leave this resort because everything we wanted was provided.”

”Hyvä ja siisti hotelli.Ranta lähellä uiminen laiturilta.Aamupala piti kuulua hintaan hotels comin mukaan mutta paikanpäällä selvisi aamulla että aamupala on siinä hotellissa listalta tilattava ja maksullinen pettynyt tähän koska mainostetaan että aamupala kuuluu hintaa. ja varausvahvistuksessakin niin lukee.Terassilla ei ollut kalusteita piti itse hakea ravintola tuolit.”

”The property itself needed so much more maintenance. The room was definitely not as advertised . The shower head was so bad like the whole floor would get wet. The hot tub was dirty and throughout our whole stay not once did housekeeping went to the room. We had trash for days in the restroom. Mind u this was a 5 day stay so u can imagine how much trash there was . Definitely u get what u pay for but as for me we wont return unfortunately although i loved the area it was in.”

”Very special place w/ own private beach and peaceful athosphere. Not a luxury and definitely need some renovation all over. But our family lined very much, beach was awesome. Manager Anna was very nice but other service could have been slightly more proactive. Fiid is not that great except sea food. Breakfast (continental means toasts) takes an hour due to kitchen... We were able to change rooms when no hot water. Then family room was big enough and original. Sometimes is not credited...

”This is a beautiful property. That said, the listing was misleading regarding several advertised amenities. One of the primary reasons we selected this property was the advertised beach access. While there is direct access to the cliffside views, there is no actual direct access to the beach below. Guests must walk a considerable distance off-property to find a safe path down to the shoreline. Additionally, the listing photos strongly suggested the unit included a kitchen or at least some...
