”The staff were pleasant and the pool area was OK. Location of the hotel was good. However on the second floor the decor was in need of a lot of improvement. The carpet was threadbare in places; the corridor and our room 223 had paint flaking off in places; the curtains were in need of replacement and were tattily drawn which looked a mess. The bathroom only had one narrow shelf above the toilet which meant there was nowhere to put your toiletries. Finally thought paying £10 per night for car...

”Lovely staff and excellent location. Rooms look as though they have been recently refurbished. Cold breakfast selection not as good as it used to be but good variety of cooked breakfasts on offer. I found the restaurant very cold in the evening but fine in the morning. Plenty of supplies in the room, tea, coffee, water, biscuits and toiletries etc.”

”Lovely big room and cool too with the current heat wave, everything you need and shower was good too and room was clean Comfy bed and we slept so well and very peaceful during the night coukdnt hear no traffic and we had the window open Breakfast was help yourself to cereals, croissants, yogurts and fresh juice at the bottom of the stairs and we enjoyed this. ”We booked this because of they offered a gym.. gym was great but didn't open until 8am Saturday and 9am Sunday. Breakfast wasn't until 8 so difficult to fit both in when visiting anglesy”

”A happy stay for both us and the dog. Clean and comfortable with all you need. Plenty of hot water and the heating was excellent when needed, the log burner completed the package. Just a little tight on space either side of the bed but not unusual in an older one level cottage. Secure garden for a dog unless it decides to explore the stream at the end of the garden. Ours didn't just enjoyed sitting in the sun with us. Nice to have a view too! ”
