”The rooms were so small. Bathrooms even smaller. You would hit the sink trying to use the toilet. Getting out of the shower was a challenge with the sink right on top. AC was only in the rooms and not throughout the hotel. The bed was the most uncomfortable bed I’ve ever slept in which is disappointing considering the brand of the hotel. Would not recommend. Staff was friendly but slow in all parts of the hotel. Food was great.”

”Hassayampa Inn is truly historic and maintains the aura of its history beautifully. The staff is outstanding. The rooms are as described, so do expect some to be smaller than a more modern hotel. And the elevator is only operated by staff, who are more than happy to assist anytime of the day or night. At the Hassayampa, you are only a block or two from Courthouse Square and Whiskey Row...many events at the square and many restaurants within walking distance. Be aware, for those who may have...

Of note, was an employee named Marcus who multi-tasked many jobs and always with a smile. Management was on the spot and you could tell was overseeing everything. The location to downtown was great and walkable.”

”We love this quaint, quiet retreat. We’ve stayed twice here and it is a hidden gem. It’s beautiful, green and quiet. We stayed in the original cabin with the rainfall showerhead and it was lovely. The little side yard was perfect for our dogs but it needs some TLC. We would hate to see this lovely little place to fall into disrepair. Encouraging the owner to spend a dime and put some effort into rouge and lipstick for the place. If I could buy it, that’s exactly what I’d do.”

”The room was horrible and I mean horrible. The cleaning staff “cleans” with no cleaning products. There was blood and body stain on one side of the mattress. Feces all over the toilet bowl. There were no other rooms available in the area so I went to dollar tree and cleaned the entire room myself. It was the most terrible experience in a motel, ever. You’re better sleeping in your car.”
