"​I finally stayed in the Court Room, and it was worth the wait. Interestingly, the 28-pod mixed dorm was even quieter than an earlier stay I had in a smaller female-only room. A very positive surprise! ​It was great to see how seriously my previous feedback was taken. I deeply appreciated the handwritten apology note from before, as well as the lovely welcome gift (a card and some fudge) left in my pod this time. What truly completes the experience, however, is the professional staff; those who offer genuine kindness, polite "extra words," and a welcoming approach are what make this stay feel so high-quality. It is wonderful to see such excellence and care from these team members. ​A small note for maintenance: I usually find the 1st-floor ladies' bathrooms spotless, but this time there was an unusual amount of water on the floors inside the toilet cubicles (not the shower area), and even in the basket for sanitary products. Also, the background music was missing on that floor—it’s such a nice mood-lifter usually! The other floors were perfect, though. ​Despite these minor points, this remains my absolute favorite place to stay. I will definitely be back and will continue to recommend it!"

"Huone oli siisti ja henkilökunta mukava. Aamupalojen kanssa oli sekaannusta ja luulen, että minulta laskutettiin liikaa. Huone oli ihan viihtyisä, Mutta suihkun hanan sekoittaja oli rikki ja sieltä tuli joko kylmää tai tulikuumaa vettä. Yleisvaikutelma jäi silti plussan puolelle."

"A lovely bed&breakfast in a great location. We (a couple traveling) had the room with queen bed and a bunk bed. It was roomy and very clean. The amenities were great: a sink, kettle and a small fridge in the room and full shared kitchen in the same level. Snacks, water, tea/coffee available. Would've stayed longer, even for a whole week! Craig gave us nice tips about the close-by area. Tram stop (and bus stops too) was just a couple hundred meters away. Leith is a nice area in the new town (even our tour guide recommended it). Warm recommendation!"

"Olimme neljän päivän matkalla Edinburghissa ja kiertelimme myös vuokra-autolla muualla Skotlannissa. Hotellilla oli todella hyvä sijainti ja viehättävä englantilainen yliopistomiljöö. Aamupalahuone upea ja aamiainen maistuva. Palvelu todella ystävällistä. The Scott oli ehdottomasti hyvä valinta ja suosittelemme muillekin! "
