”We had a lovely stay at this incredible property! The staff were so welcoming and easily contactable throughout the stay, and very helpful. The room was spotless, and the grounds were beautifully maintained. It was a delight to stay here and I couldn’t recommend it enough! ”

”Property is very close to downtown. Walking 1 to 2 km in this town is normal distance. We moved around with rental car.

For meals, we could cook right there (the Super Rosvil market is a short walk away) or we could go out to eat - there's Mario's place on the next corner for easy food, or an easy walk to downtown for lots of other options). ”Our stay at Bauma was fantastic! The staff were very helpful, parking lot was paved, jacuzzi was a good size & the bathroom plus shower were very spacious. It is closer to La Fortuna waterfall and a short drive into the downtown area. There is a small market down the street as well. We would definitely return back to stay here! ”
”Amazing place! It is a little outside the town with an amazing view of the volcano. The property was so relaxing with a pool and shaded areas to hang out. So many birds and a beautiful garden! The actual room was good for sleeping and making simple meals but we spent most of our time outdoors on the property. Would stay again!”
”I loved this place . This is not a fancy resort nor is it trying to be. This hotel was affordable and perfect for my family of four: spacious rooms, Good breakfast , lots of birds outside our rooms. Nice and helpful staff walking distance to town . We had a car so we did not take advantage of the many tours they were able to provide . I do regret not doing the sloth tour with Armando but we didn’t have enough time in La Fortuna. ”

”This 2 story rental villa has a great view of Volcan Arenal from the second story. It overlooks a farm with elephant grass used for grazing animals. The location is about 2 km south of the center of La Fortuna, so a car is necessary. It is close to several of the tour outfitters that do canyoneering and rafting. ”Nice stay for one night. Room is very basic & small. Very good service at the reception. Enjoyed the pool & jacuzzis, and the small forest trail was a nice extra.
