”We had a privilege to spend a week in this paradise! From the moment we arrived everything went smoothly and we felt ourselves welcome. The hotel is new and has a great ambiance. The pool was warm and cozy and most of the time totally quiet. You can use it until 11pm which is nice. The location is perfect if you want serenity and it is easy to take a bus or cab to the hussle of the city if needed. We would definitely stay here again anytime! =)”

”The property was gorgeous, I loved all the tropical foliage. The pool area was spectacular. The room was spacious, cool and quiet. The staff was exceptional. We enjoyed our meals at the onsite restaurant and our time at The Beach Club. My only regret was The Beach Club wasn’t open on Sunday and that was disappointing. We were directed to the sister property which was also nice with beach front area. Overall excellent stay, would book again.”

”A beautiful and enchanting hotel. We only stayed there for a short while but it was truly short and sweet. The vibes were especially peaceful, and the neighborhood it was in too. The architecture was jaw droppingly beautiful and unique. A mix of Mexican Boho and classical. We also loved that it was walking distance from the airport. My wife and I walked 15 minutes to get there. We recommend for any length of stay. This place is truly a hidden gem!”

”The house provided everything we needed. Though for us a couple missing items in the kitchen. Unfortunately the area around is not very inviting for families and requires additional travel to local attractions. It was great value for a short stay. The green field park area outside wouldve been great if it werent for the garage and dog poop everywhere. ”

”Our family of 5 had an amazing stay at Velas Vallarta! The customer service was exceptional from start to finish. A special thank you to Marcelino at Andreas for outstanding service, Edwin at the beachside restaurant, and Antonio for taking such great care of us by the pool. ”Food was mediocre, typical resort food. Not buffet style so you have to ask for everything. Rooms below average design n vibe, it was giving dated. Not so family friendly regarding activities. Small lobby, nothing for kids to do outside of the swimming pool, making evenings challenging when pool is closed. ”The check-in was horrible! Only one person working at the desk for the whole hotel??? No entertainment. No music at the adults pool. The staff is not nearly as friendly as the other hotels I’ve been to in puerto Vallarta. By far the worst experience- choose another hotel I guarantee you’ll have a better time.”

”Basic accommodations, good for one night when catching a flight or when arriving late. Breakfast was basic (toast, fruit, coffee, juice, granola) but sufficient. Pool area is comfortable and hotel located not too far from the beach. Staff are friendly and bed comfortable. Some traffic noise; ear plugs were useful for me. Decent shopping venues in the area.”
