Täydellinen hinta-laatusuhde hyvällä sijainnilla
Erinomainen hinta-laatusuhde. Hotelli oli siisti ja sitä siivottiin pyydettäessä. Vessan tuuletin oli niin pölyinen, ettei sitä ole aikoihin siivottu. Muuten ei siisteydessä ollut huomauttamista. Allergisten kannattaa huomioida kokolattiamatto. Design-puolella lattia narisee välillä jopa itsestään. Aamupala oli monipuolinen ja laadukas. Minibaari on suhteellisen lämmin, eikä viileämmäksi saa. Ilmalämpöpumppu oli ehdoton plussa meidän todella pienen huoneen lämpötilan säätelyyn jopa näin lopputalvesta. Sijainti on erinomainen, vanhankaupungin laidalla ja bussipysäkkien sekä palvelujen välittömässä läheisyydessä. Yöpyisin ehdottomasti uudelleen, jos Riikaan tulee matkustettua.

Receptionists were too young to take care of hotel business and there was not manager available. There was leak marks in the room ceiling under the Windows. and mold in the corners of bathroom. Cleaners didn’t actually clean the room, add new roll of toilet paper or change the sheets unless asked twice kindly. Cleaner tipped over our suitcase but didn’t admit it. Breakfast was barely average.

Huone oli todella siisti ja suurikokoinen. Huoneessamme sekä käytävillä oli kokolattiamatot, jotka vaimensivat käytäviltä tulevia ääniä. Mukanamme matkustava koira oli tervetullut yöpymään. Aamiainen oli runsas mutta se piti maksaa erikseen. Henkilökunta oli mukavaa ja saimme heiltä hyvää palvelua. Ainut miinus oli ettei suihkusta tullut lämmintä vettä.

Really bad bed and pillow. All noises from above was heard. Tiny room with only small window, also room height just and just enough for my tall husband. Breakfast was quite large but quality poor. Parking lot was full so we had to park outside of the hotel and unfortunately we got a parking fine because the parking app caused us little bit of trouble. Annoying experience all in all.

Huone tuotti pettymyksen, Riika oli mahtava.
Vietimme pariskuntana viikon Riikassa ja Rixwell Old Riga Palace hotellissa. Viestittely ja taksin järjestäminen kentältä hotellille ja takaisin kentälle onnistui hyvin. Lisäksi henkilökunta oli mukavaa. Huone vaan oli pettymys. Huoneeksi valittiin vielä hieman kalliimpi "design" huone. Huone oli kellari kerroksessa, se oli ehkä pienin hotellihuone missä olen ollut. Huoneeseen tultaessa roskikset olivat tyhjentämättä. Siellä haisi makea ummehtunut haju vaikka ikkunat olivat päivän raollaan. Ilmanvaihdosta ja hajusta ilmoitimme myös hotellin infoon, mutta sama haju oli siellä koko vierailun ajan. Lisäksi huonesiivoksesta piti erikseen muistuttaa kertaalleen. Huoneen ikkunasta näkyi katutasossa olevat laattakasat, käytännössä verhot täytyi pitää kiinni aina myös siksi että ikkunan takana oli työmiehet ja remontin melu joka alkoi juuri sillä viikolla kun tulimme hotelliin.

Beds were very hard and unconfortaböe whicj made sleeping very difficult. We got to change the room to a newer one, but difference was marginal at best. The new room (design room) was nice, but very small and didn’t have any ventilation for air to go out, so the air in the room was very moist and unconfortable even with air condition

Sängyissä ei ollut petauspatjoja, vain joustinpatja joten oli vähän kova. Tyynyt kovia, joutui pyytämään pehmeämmän. Huoneessa ei tallelokeroa eikä tossuja, joista maininta esittelyssä. Huone siisti ja tilava. Aamupalassa toivomisen varaa. Lämpöiset tuotteet olivat hasleita samoin kylmät tuotteet. Valikoima suppea ja sama joka aamu. Sijsinti hyvä, alue rauhallinen.

The service, atmosphere and staff were friendly and welcoming except a particular lady at the reception on the morning of the 6th of June 2023. She was very rude and did not listen to what we had to ask or say, she kept repeating somethings like an automated person, it was really unfortunate. Otherwise, breakfast was good and staff at the restaurant were lovely.
