The bedroom I stayed in had a broken blind which let the light in, the bedside lamp was also broken, the Manager was grumpy, but two very nice waitresses.
Otherwise not to be recommended at that price.”

”A quaint old world coach house set in a lovely quiet village. Beautiful garden and orangery. We stayed one night in a very comfortable and pleasantly decorated room with en suite bathroom. Tea coffee and kettle and hairdryer. Staff were friendly and welcoming. An enjoyable evening meal in the orangery overlooking the garden. Delicious continental and cooked breakfast. Definitely recommend.”

They had a breakfast sandwich ready for me to leave early for work which was much appreciated.

”A lot of design flair has been put into The Kings Head interiors. Very comfortable. The choice of breakfast was excellent as was the evening meal we enjoyed there. The staff were very helpful as was their manager Tahir. The Kings Head is on the bus route into Winchester with a bus stop right outside. Very convenient for visiting the city. We were very impressed and would definitely stay again.”
