”I don’t ever write reviews but I thought my 4 day stay at Shibari deserved one. The hotel is basically a giant compound in an already very safe area of tulum. They have a massive gate in the front that only hotel guests are allowed to enter through. If you are not staying at the hotel, you can’t just wander on through like you can at some others located on the beach. ”In general a good and comfortable stay, but for this price I would expect excellence. I found it strange that there was no refridgerator in the room, seems like it was on purpose so that customers wouldn’t bring any own snacks and therefore would spend even more money in the hotel restaurant. Many less pricey hotels offer water bottles for guests but not here, only in the lobby to drink there. Breakfast was included but it was kind of lean so I was always still hungry and I had to buy more food,...
