”Hotellissa oli nuorisohostellin tapaan hyvä henki ja asiakaspalvelu oli tuttavallista. Henkilökunta oli melko kiireinen ja aulan kaiuttimista kantautuva jazzmusiikki kaikui yöllä huoneisiin asti.”

”I was positively surprised by the Generator Rome. Originally we booked just one night last minute but ended up extending for 3 more. For the price we paid I doubt you'll find as nice a room anywhere in Rome. Our private room was pretty with modern bathroom. Great shower! Wifi worked well and all the staff members were friendly and helpful. It feels more like hotel than hostel. Many reviews mention the surrounding area. Yes, it's near the railway station and it's not the most beautiful part...

”Ilmainen illallinen oli todella iso plussa! Aamiainen oli ihan jees, painottuu toki italialle tyypillisesti kaikkeen epäterveelliseen ja makeaan. Suihkujen seinistä näki hyvin läpi, vessoja ei saanut lukkoon ja lukittava laatikko oli rikki, joten ei sovi ujoille tai varkaita pelkääville. Kuitenkin hotelli oli kokonaisuutena todella tyylikäs ja täynnä mukavia ihmisiä, joihin on helppo tutustua yhteisellä illallisella ja mulavissa oleskelutiloissa. Tykkäsin!”

”The staff was nice and the location of the hotel was perfect. The hotel itself however, was worth 1,5 starts instead of three. The room smelled stuffy and it was very hot. The floors were dusty and looked like they had not been vacuumed in a long while. The bathroom was clean, but we came across a cockroach our second night in there. The breakfast was mostly sweet pastries, not very nutritious. A staff member brought coffee to the table, which was a plus. ”

”Huoneen jääkaapin lukko oli rikki. WC:stä puuttui käsisuihku. Suihkunurkkauksessa oli vain kiinteä, ylhäällä sijaitseva suihkusuutin. Huoneessa ei ollut vaatekaappia/vaateripustimia. Pesualtaasta puuttui tulppa. Vesijohtojen ääni oli erittäin voimakas. Jouduimme toimimaan nuorisojoukkojen järjestyksenvalvojana. Juhlivat seinän takana hiljaisuusaikaan.”

”This place is absolutely disgusting. It’s falling apart, don’t be fooled by the pictures. The bathroom is a room with a few showers that is shared by the entire floor, it was so dirty, wet and gross that I didn’t even want to step in it. I was placed in a room with other 4 big men and the vibe in the entire place was just shady. At night it was impossible to sleep, you can hear every little thing from the entire property. The bed and pillow are just plain horrible, the “lamp” was just a hanging...

”Convenient location. Shower was a little bit of a problem and couldnt get decent hot water. Was clean and comfortable enough. For the price you pay definitely does the job”

”Clim très bruyante (donc mise en off par moi) parties communes d'accès aux chambres, laissant a désirer... (photos fenêtre sur parking et l'escalier avec sa cascade d'eau!!! ) Petite SdB correcte, malgré le manque d'eau chaude et le peu de pression de la douche... Très belle vue sur le parking clos. ”

”The towel set is in-charge, but overall, the hostel was clean and it was easy to use transportation. The security was great.”

”Staff at check-in was quite disinterested and did not provide any information about the property or local area. Security is quite poor, door to the room did not lock and no lockers available for personal belongings (apparently this is being renovated). Reception staff offered to store any valuables, but I discovered afterwards that the "safe storage area" was a completely open room where anybody had access. Nonetheless, property was quite clean. Would be a reasonable option for budget travellers...

”It is a very nice place for a short stay in Rome. The place is well connected with the rest of the city. Very close to Termini station. The owner is very friendly and very helpful person. We enjoyed very much the stay and recommend stay there. ”

”Great location, clean and comfortable apartment. Our only problem was that the main AC wasn’t working well. Otherwise, all was good. Easy to schedule and good communication with the office. Would stay again.”

”Das Hostel Romangelo ist zentral am Hauptbahnhof Termini gelegen und ist somit auch vom Flughafen gut zu erreichen. Der Umgang mit den Hostelbetreibern ist freundlich und unkompliziert. Es ist möglich die Hostelküche (inklusive Kühlschrank) für die Zubereitung von Kleinigkeiten zu nutzen. Dort gibt es jden Morgen ein kleines Frühstück und zusätzlich wird täglich ein kleines Lunchpaket in das Zimmer gestellt. Das Zimmer mit integriertem Bad ist sauber und bei Wunsch wird man als Gast mit...

”Staff were amazing, the best i’ve ever encountered. The rooms however, not as impressive. The bathroom was the major issue. So right and cramped and NOTHING like the images they have online. But again, the staff were so lovely and kind it. Made up for everything else.”

”Siisti ja rauhallinen hotelli lähellä Vatikaania. Metropysäkille vähän matkaa mutta bussilla pääsee mukavan lähelle. Yläkerran baarissa piti olla häppy hour mutta meiltä otettiin kyllä kahdesta teemukista täysi hinta. Menisin toistekkin.Aamupala oli ihan ok.”

”Miinuksena aamupala lisämaksusta joka ei motivoinut meitä kertaakaan sen äärelle. Pyyhkeitä vähän ja niitäkin vain lisämaksusta. Positiivisena vapaa ilnapiiri ja omatoimista eikä tarvinnut hyppiä huoneesta siivouksien ajaksi pois”
