”Room was large and clean with a bath and shower. The hotel is in a beautiful village next to the river and many lovely walks. Evening meal was excellent, as was breakfast. All the staff were great with Naomi going above and beyond.”

”The indoor spa was great. Staff were awesome as well - really professional. Can imagine it's great when the outdoor spa is open and during the summer. Some of the negatives...breakfast could do with some improvements, the ingredients tasted low quality some of the cooking was questionable (fried eggs for example). The place had a general feel of getting refurbished so felt hard done by paying full price... Our room (28) smelt like drains and the view was blocked by scaffolding. Also some mold...

”We stayed in a family room. It was very spacious, clean and comfy. The Inn is not far from Kendal cbd (less than 10 min drive). The hotel does do dinner, it is a little pricey tho. The included breakfast was quite good (cereals and full english breakie style included in our stay). ”

We thought the main bedding could be better with a bit more blackout curtain/blinds as the ambient lights outside were on for a longer period at night - these are some feedback for the sake of it. ”I had a lovely stay at The Three Shires Inn which is in the lovely, quiet spot in the middle of the countryside. Loved seeing the mountains and sheep. I would highly recommend.”

”What a pleasant place this was. We had food in the Dolly bar and it was excellent. The staff are very helpful. The room was clean and had everything you could want If I was being picky it would of been lovely to of seen outside lights from the bar so you could see the river in the dark”

”I stayed at the Fenwick a couple of times now travelling on business and enjoyed my stays. The rooms are very well presented and always nice a warm. Good food, especially breakfast. I think the road outside does not do the hotel any favours, but once your inside you can forget the road.”
