”Beautiful hotel. We were greeted by a glass of prosecco whilst we checked in. We had a standard room which was more than adequate in size and it has the softest bed and linen I think I have ever stayed in, the room had a balcony looking out over part of the golf course. We played golf and used the spa after which is intimate in size but well worth using. We ate in both restaurants and had breakfast on the terrace both mornings. ”We were a party of three adults staying two nights so that we had an easy journey over the weekend to get to the Steam Rally at nearby Woodchurch. Excellent base as views from the room were great, the balcony just right to sit and watch the sunset, and the beds were comfortable.
The only negative comment being the restaurant tables, which had a very sticky feel to them. The waitresses wiped them down thoroughly but it seems this affected the surface of the tables! However the food was excellent...
