”This place was excellent! It’s the little touches that made me so happy. We had a steam shower which we enjoyed. Also, there was a turndown service with chocolate. I thought I had to go get ice but opened the ice bucket to find that they had already provided me with ice. The staff was amazingly courteous and helpful. I would definitely stay here again. ”

”This property was all we expected and ticked all the boxes. Sue was very helpful and made us feel right at home in this beautiful restored town hall. We had the Judges chambers which was huge with beautiful high ceilings and the right decor that took you back in time. AAA :)”

”The hotel is undergoing a major renovation. It did affect quiet during the day, but they handled it very well. More disappointing was museums are closed Mondays and Tuesdays.”

”Great historic hotel. It was a bonus that they had a parking garage as we had bikes on the back. Good pub restaurant attached to the hotel. The hotel was also very accomodating as our dates were mixed up. Got that all sorted without problems. Overall, excellent stay.”

”For as old as it is, it was very nice and clean. Rooms were updated, but still had some age showing. We stayed in the bridal suite but didnt know the jet tub wasnt working completely until we checked in.”
