”Pleasant enough stay. Room was well sized worh a window that opened. Both bedroom and bathroom were clean. Car parking is free which is rare for hotels in the area. Its also in a rural area so quiet which was perfect. Tea and coffe is a kettle, no coffee machine but this is stated on the he hotel details. ”Carpet in my Lodge room has seen batter days, also the corridor carpet looks like many an ending to heavy nights landed on it. Food in the pub was terrible, first time i’ve ever sent a meal back anywhere. Fish and chips. Looked like the oil it was fried in hadn’t been changed in years and was inedible. ”

”Same music on repeat in bar. Which is overpriced. Menu in restaurant was not diverse and is so expensive for was it is. £21 for a burger but the chair you sit at your table on is broken and tables all wobbly. It’s just a joke. ”

”We stayed here for one night after a day in Winchester. A nice enough hotel, with staff pleasant enough. The room we stayed in was small but well kept. The main issue we had was that the room was that next to a staff run through, meaning doors were slammed constantly. Further, there was no air conditioning, and the room we were in at the bottom floor was next to a busy beer table and had lots and lots of mosquitoes, meaning we were bitten to heck! ”It was terrifying! I booked one of my accomplished musicians to stay after our long late evening rehearsal. When we enter the room (no staff available of course ro even speak to), we found the room had bed laid already by strangers! Later, 3 drunk guys returned to my reservation room 9, sleeping on the bed and one drunk man was on the floor!”

”Great hotel and spa facilities. Shame about the TVs that have no TV guide facility due to them being linked into some daft hotel menu nonsense. The two rooms I stayed in also had screens that were failing and were almost entirely blue in tone due to the cheap outdated Samsung TVs that are in all of the rooms.”
