”The person at the front desk was super friendly and welcoming. The room was clean without issue. The hotel is very conveniently located close to downtown Truckee, Northstar and with easy freeway access.”

”Interesting and unique place ! The bed was super comfortable, slept great. Rooms very small and no extra frills, it worked for the main purpose, sleep, shower. Perfect place for travelers to meet and mingle. Mostly spent our time in Truckees many restaurants/bars or Northstar skiing. I would recommend if looking for a lil more affordable place ! Personally a lil pricy for a hostel, but its Truckee, tourist town and close to skii resorts, thats just the way it is !”

”Very adorable hotel with a lot of personality. The staff were courteous and made sure that we had anything we needed. Everything in downtown Truckee was within walking distance so parking was never an issue.”

”Incredible experience! Go in with an open mind because this kind of place is not for people that want plush comforts. This is more like summer camp but the staff was awesome and the space is beautiful! Sitting by the fire in the great room is the best.”

”Such a comfortable stay. The lift is right next to the hotel which is amazing... The gym is nice and the jacuzzi, steam room and sauna amenities are a nice bonus. Love staying there for my ski trips.”

”We had such a great stay at the Hyatt. We had 3 families going and the staff made sure our three rooms were as close as possible. The rooms were all well stocked with great quality kitchen cookware. Bring your own seasonings though! We loved walking to the village and highlands gondola for skiing. The ski valet was also so amazing & convenient, while underground parking is great when there's snow. Highly recommend for families who value being close to the slopes! ”

”The condo was very nicely appointed, so conveniently located. I wasn't able to ski but I was so close to walking to gondola I used my ikon pass to meet up with the family for lunches. I had fun walking around the village having a latte or listening to music in the afternoons. Having the ski lockers on the downstairs floor made life very easy for the skiers in the group. Lots of great options for dining without having to get on your car- we all loved that!!! We will definitely be back”
