”Beautiful but remote location, you are 1 hour drive from the West entrance to BBNP, cabin was generally clean but bath was not, basic furnishings with beds and one chair, no desk, cell service limited, Restaurant was overpriced and mediocre, Pay attention to details of long drive into property, overall ok with limitations noted”

”Quiet property. Chris took care of my needs. Great stay.”

”The staff was outstanding, pleasant and helpful. The breakfast buffet was delicious, and we had dinner one night and the steaks were excellent. I was able to extend checkout for an extra hour which was very helpful, as my granddaughter was able to ride the pony again. We participated in multiple activities such as Tomahawk and Archery; the attendants were helpful and provided positive feedback. The pool was chilly, but doable for children. The only disappointing thing that occurred was the...

”The property was beautiful; the rooms were nice and clean. They weren't luxury, but they were perfect for a visit to the hill country and were a very good value for the price. And almost best of all, the mattresses were comfortable. I would stay there again.”

”We had a wonderful stay! The property was unique, cozy, and surrounded by beautiful nature. The lake view was absolutely stunning, and the deck was the perfect place to relax and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere. We loved the unique design of the cabin and the beautiful scenery. It was a great place to unwind and escape from the busy city. We would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway!”

”We're celebrating our 26th anniversary and this place . This place made our experience magnificent. It was easy to connect with nature, and the interaction with all the animals was spectacular. Being able to touch and feed the giraffes was our favorite moment. The staff is very kind and helpful. The cabins are very comfortable, clean, and well-maintained. We will definitely return to this place as often as we can.”

”Quiet and beautiful location with river access. Pet friendly. Only major issue was the bed . Mattress is very soft and on top of a noisy box spring. Got poor rest due a bed with poor support. Please provide firmer bed. A basic mattress on hard surface without box spring would have sufficed.”

”Clean, comfortable. Host was very helpful and friendly. Beautiful view.”

”This was our first time staying here, and we appreciated that it accepts pets. The room was clean, with a full size refrigerator (which was handy), and comfortable beds. Very pleasant place, very quiet, and very reasonably priced. Kitchen had a microwave, coffee maker, and adequate silverware, and pots and pans. We will stay here again.”

”Friendly staff rooms clean property need a mow but I understand with all the rain it was hard to maintain. They were working on it”

”Nice place”

”The property was just as advertised. Clean, fun amenities, easy to use thermostats (we have stayed at some properties where climate control was a nightmare!), appliances, swim-tub, etc.The owner was very responsive with some questions we had and everyone had a great time at this property.Could not recommend it any higher!”

”We had a family get together for Memorial Day there was plenty of room for our group (18 people). Lots to do for the kiddos and beautiful place right on the lake. We will definitely stay here again ”
