”On arrival staff member (or manager) appeared complacent and somewhat uninterested. Did not show us to the room, although easy to find (not accessible for anyone with a disability - two flights of stairs - not lift). Room was spacious for two. Given it was an old-ish annexe part of the main building the windows were draughty even with what seemed like outdated secondary glazing that barely closed (room 4). ”Our room was comfortable and well presented, check in was easy and welcoming. The hotel was easy to find and in a great location right by the park and a short stroll from Lark Lane.
A few minor DIY jobs need seeing to in the room and bathroom which do not impact the function of the room but make it feel a little run down- things like light a light bulb needing replacing, some skirting board coming away in the bathroom, and redundant fixtures from when hand soap used to be supplied in bottles...

Just slightly out of the town centre.

”The hotel was warm and welcoming.
The staff helped us check in early, and were very informative about the area.
This is a great location, with everything you need within easy walking distance.
The aesthetics of the building are classy, and the bar area, and breakfast dining, area are enjoyable places to just sit and relax.
The rooms are luxurious, and very well equipped.
Ate short stay was fantastic, and next time I visit Liverpool, I will have no hesitation in staying here.
