”The Royal presents itself impeccably. It has quality everywhere you look. Our room was immaculate and food quality didn’t let us down. However, our experience at breakfast was a little disappointing as everything was being cleared away before we had finished eating!! And our charges to the room were taken from my credit card without any prior consultation. Still waiting for an email of my bill which was promised? All just seemed a bit unprofessional?”

”The hotel was very beautiful old building. The apartment was spatious, bathrooms were very nice, but the sofa bed was very uncomfortable and the temperature in the room was too high. Windows couldn't be kept open because of the terrible smell from the cows next to the hotel!”

”The staff are a credit to the hotel. I found them helpful and friendly. Our room was upgraded to the president suite room 128 i would highly recommend for families. Even though the room was a little dated it was clean and tidy. Have already rebooked for our next break”

”Just as pretty and lovely as i expected. Our room was so pretty and decorated with good taste. First place ever where i didnt hate fitted carpet. Restaurant was great! So far best fillet steak i have ever eaten! Restaurant staff was great and lovely. I recommend!”

”Very pleasant hotel with nice staff and all facilities you could expect. The room was perfect, except impossibility to open window for a little fresh air inside the room (air conditioning available though). Parking is big enough to park your car safely next to the hotel. City center and docks are easy to reach by walk (we recommend the docks museum, very interesting and free admission). Huge Tesco and other food corners around the hotel. ”

”Booking was easy was able to speak to staff when we had some questions . parking wasn’t a problem even though it was on public road map is given of where to park for free We stayed in Sunset Apartment it was spotlessly clean everything we needed and little extra touches as well Trams stop outside the apartment . Will definitely return ”

”Firstly, the location was great. The Stork is near the M6 and minutes away from downtown Lancaster, yet you feel like you are in the country. We enjoyed a last minute stay at the Stork and feel as though we had found a hidden gem. If the rooms aren't brand new, they certainly appear so. We also had a gastropub style meal at night and a complimentary full English bteakfast in the morning. Both meals were very good. We were most impressed by the staff; all of whom were very friendly, professional...

”Wow amazing stay ... fantastic apartment and parking , right in the center of everything .... few minutes walk to castle , shops and restaurants.... we would 100% stay there again and we would recommend it to anyone wanting a stay in Lancaster.... 10/10 😆”
