”As regular customers of Dakota Leeds, Manchester and Edinburgh we had been looking forward to staying at Dakota Newcastle to celebrate our anniversary. Unfortunately the room we booked didn’t live up to expectations with flat lumpy pillows and a broken curtain that wouldn’t close fully, letting light into the room from 6.40am which woke us up early and meant we didn’t get the relaxing lie in we had hoped for whilst away. ”A lovely hotel and nice staff. Good location, not precisely in the heart of the city but very close. The general feeling was relaxed. The room was great and we only had positive things to say about the room and the tidiness of the hotel in general, but I must say that the breakfast could've been slightly better. That's the only thing that prevented me from giving a 5-star rating. Looking forward to my next visit anyway (hopefully with even better breakfast).”

”Worst hotel ever in Europe. And yes, in this case I include Russia in Europe. Room stank like years of smoking, bathroom like piss. Piss stains on the toilet seat, whole rainbow of different coloured stains on all of the towels and bedding. Noisy and a spot light pointing at the window. Arrogant and unhelpful older woman at the reception (this one was definetly no lady). Avoid if you're travelling alone, can't say anything about the bigger rooms, but assume the worst.”

”The studio was very clean and it has everything you need, it is a quiet area with pleanty of parking 10 mim drive from the city centre. We visited for the rugby 20 min walk ftom Newcastle Redbulls. Lovely pub called the Windsor 15 min walk away. ”

”The room was clean and tidy, warm throughout the night which was comfortable. The one thing that was annoying was there was an inch gap under the door which the hall light shone in under the door the whole night.”
