”Liked the garden, but it needs a little C&A... Disabled car parking near to our room (No.5) was an excellent bonus. Breakfast was excellent but a bit expensive. Staff were all very courtious and helpful. Direct booking rather than via an agency is preferred. We will certainly be recomending the Lion to our friends and relations and using you again next time we are in the area. The only down sude was the loss of my credidit card - was is handed in to you?? Dennis Cole”

”We stayed in an Executive run which was well maintained and spacious if a little dated. Bathroom had been updated but corners had been cut like an old siding on the bath. Air con worked well and the room was quiet overnight. Breakfast wasn’t great. Limited choices and the eggs were terrible both scrambled and fried, but it was only £10 each. It was good value for money overall and convenient for a stroll into town to catch the shuttle bus to Llangollen Pavilion. Would imagine it gets very...

”Perfect night stay and one for the bucket list as a local to Chester. Staff were extremely helpful and the continental breakfast was perfect , which we had in our room. Would definitely stay again!”
