”Location was perfect, easy to get everywhere. And we loved our small kitchen, it was handy and there was everything you could imagine to need. Althaugh the room could have been cleaner. There was a bit dust and crumbs everywhere, as if the room had not been vacuumed at all. Also air conditioning was surprisingly noisy, the whole room was resonating, so it didn't help to switch it off. But overall it was a ok stay in a good price.”

”Perfect location for a one night stay prior to our cruise. Good sized room with a comfortable bed, refreshing shower, tea/coffee and ironing facilities. Nice restaurant where we had an enjoyable evening meal and wine, discounted by £5 per person by downloading the App. Free weekend parking. Taxi for 4 with all luggage to Southampton Terminal £25. Highly recommend. ”

”Beautiful setting in a country house right in the village of Burley. Walk past green pastures,along the driveway and you are there. Sit on the front patio and watch the deer walk by, and eat right in front of you. Two comfortable lounges, and a Bar, really nice Dining Room. Full Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner menu's. Rooms were very comfortable and clean. Tea and Expresso, complimentary water and sparkling water.”

”Stayed for one night as a little stop over on way to Cornwall with our young Labrador. The hotel is really lovely and super dog friendly with welcome treats and a little pup pack of goodies in the room. The staff made such a fuss of Zoey dog. Really lovely people. We took a 5 minute stroll into the village for a walk and dinner at a pub. The location is perfect. Our room was on the first floor overlooking the bar terrace but there were no noise issues. Next morning I took advantage of the hotel...

”We had a great stay at Bartley Lodge after visiting Peppa Pig world inside Paultons Park Family of four: two adults and two kids age 3 and 7 - both autistic so they are loud and a bit restless waiting, but we felt welcome and comfortable during our stay. The lady managing the dining room brought them colours and books for the table to play with as the conservatory had less WiFi signal for watching cartoons. Great breakfast options really filling and fresh including the usual familiar cereal...

”Staff were super and the bed and pillows were amazing. Our room had air con, which was turned off when we arrived. It was extremely hot. Full sun had been on the room all day and it was like an oven. We turned the air con on and didn't make much difference. We did not sleep at all well We checked out early at 7.30 am as we we had to look after our grandchildren . We were not able to have breakfast which we had paid for as they didn't start service until 8.30 am All doors were locked...
