”This Race Course branch of the Chain does everything it says on the tin. Helpful staff, clean rooms, great breakfast choice. Having to fork out for parking is unwelcoming. Outside of race days whats the point.... a few miles down the road the member of the chain doesn't charge. So I go there next time. Otherwise no beefs.”

”Upon checking in I checked that it was a twin room or the beds could be split as requested. The request had not been received but the staff were accommodating and changed our room for us without any problem, they were kind and considerate and gave us a large 3 sleeper room. The room was very clean, just a few dusty areas on plugs and toilet roll holder and a stained net curtain however, the floor was quite uneven which was a bit disorientating but no major complaints. ”Had a lovely time away with my friend Barbara for her 88 th birthday celebrations x had the evening meal which was great and a very good wine list x we enjoyed a good breakfast x third time we’ve stayed there there and would highly recommend the hotel x ”

”Where do I start we got to the hotel on the first night go to the room to find there was no bedding for the kids we got charged for breakfast the next day for the kids the staff are useless the pool was closed by 7pm even tho is stated it was open till 9pm all the carpets in the hall way were taped down or ripped up the place is a joke for the price we paid”

”Entering the property you have high hopes, reception is lovely as is the staircase. rooms are not as in the photos. stain on ceiling. looked out onto a very grotty back building. It is a reasonable hotel for workers/business men but would not recommend for a couples weekend break”

”Well equipped kitchen, generally good lounge. Very good location, especially with a parking space for a car. All of Chester city centre is easy distance to walk. ”

”No place to hang coat, could do with some cost hangers in the hallway. Mattresses worn, very uncomfortable, a mattress protector could possibly help”
