”The staff were very friendly thankyou.It is a great place to stay for the piece hall,train station and other places of interest in Halifax.My room was spacious. It was a little bit noisy at night ,but not enough to keep me awake.Only comment,a hairdryer would of been good in the room.Would go back. Thankyou.”

”I ordered the Sunday Lunch which was very good and loads of it washed down with a very nice and reasonable bottle of Portugese Wine. The only strange part was going to the bar to order and pay for it up front and then asked if you wanted to leave a tip before you had been served anything and did not know if the service was going to be any good which was very strange - I feel sorry for the staff as I declined the tip upfront but then had no cash with me to make my usual 10% tip after I finished...
