”We had a small issue with the self check in as the gate number provided in the email didn't work. I managed to ring the hosts and after a few minutes it was sorted and we were able to gain access. The lodge was very comfortable, nicely decorated and well equipped for a self catering stay. Everything you needed to cook a meal including a microwave oven a fridge and a kettle. I loved the 4 highland cows in the field just outside the lodge, this was partly my reason for booking this accommodation. ”
”The Pine Marten is very reasonably priced compared to other hotels in the area. The hotel building is separate from the pub so no noise. The bedroom was clean with all facilities. The bed was (unlike in some hotels) very comfortable. Had continental breakfast each day at £6 odd. It was adequate but no yoghurt mixed with berries like at Premier Inn and Holiday Inn Express. The room was super clean and quiet. A lovely stay if you want to be away from the hustle and bustle, which a quaint village feel. This has a family feel to it!
