âHad a great stay atvyhe Hurtwood. Found it by chance. Great village with plenty of walking direct in to the Surrey Hills as directed by the lovely lady who checked us in. Room very comfortable with fresh milk provided. We found the car park easy for a big car, but would not be so easy in season I think. Dinner in the bar was excellent and good portions. Breakfast cooked to order also great. Will go again. Thank you.â

âThe staff's location and the quality of the food were commendable; we thoroughly enjoyed these aspects. However, we were dissatisfied with the room for several reasons. Firstly, it was uncomfortably cold due to insufficient heating, despite the presence of a small heater. The room failed to warm adequately, raising concerns that our young infant might catch a cold.
