”Simple but great place. Units are sparce but well decorated. Staff is helpful if you need anything. Heater worked very well. Would recommend. ”

”Very spacious and very conveniently located. Loved gas fireplace in the room. Room is a bit outdated, especially carpet in the room was fraying and loosing color.”

”The room was dirty, felt uncomfortable sitting on anything or walking without shoes on. The door has clearly been broken into and was poorly fixed. Using the keypad lock is not ideal when the door needs to be fixed and it cannot lock properly. Also there's no extra locks or latches to lock the door.”

”The Hotel near the lake is fairly quiet. Great blinds, curtains, large bathtub in my upstairs room. WiFi didn’t work in my room, it was a slight inconvenience for me, I guess that it’s down, not strong enough or something. The room is spacious. I was very comfortable. View of the lake was nice. There was construction during my stay but it was bearable. I highly recommend booking direct and save lots!”

”Centrally located in the village. Pool was nicely heated. Room was updated. Not a fan of the memory foam bed though. This particular room is near an exit door that can be a little loud.”

”Cabin was cute and fit the 8 of us perfectly. Nice kitchen as we cooked and large table we all ate at. Beds were comfortable. We also used barbecue. Great fireplace… bring wood! Large Family room where we played games. Overall we had a blast and i’d recommend to come stay. They also had a restaurant on grounds. And to add we were walking distance from the Village.”

”Nice, clean, comfortable room; within 10 minutes of Bear Mountain resort. Nice restaurant, with lake view, within 100 yards. Only issue was that there was not a single bottle of water, nor coffee filters, in the room.”

”The whole atmosphere and thematic of the place is amazing! If you’re into retro-futuristic this is your place no doubt. Staff is kind and helpful especially lady at the front desk in the morning(couldn’t get her name, curly hair) she’s is one of a kind. Location is really good as well since you can walk to Snow Summit or The Village if you feel like driving. Really satisfied with price-value at Big Bear.”

”I had a very disappointing experience with Blue Horizon Lodge. The location was infested with rats, and they had gotten into our food, leaving bites and feces everywhere. It was extremely uncomfortable and unsafe. Despite not staying there after the first night, the owner refused to provide a refund and simply didn't care for customer safety. I hope the management takes immediate action to address these issues. I want to inform others so they can make an informed decision before booking here....
