As a matter of fact, in each room there is clear note which says that if the Guests wish the towels to be changed, they have to put them on the floor. Will i return?
disappointed - 6th stay and too many little things not up to 5 star standard. TV reception on sports channel did not work and could not fix - big issue as was part of why i went 5 star for world cup rugby coverage -room had wardrobe in bathroom - first ever. Staff a bit brisk and not as attentive as in past. Bathroom basin blocked - took a while to fix. Glass sliding door in bathroom was clunky and awkward. Great breakfast with excellent staff. Still a nice hotel nut sense it is slipping and given high price would expect almost perfection. I am not a high maintenance guest so disappointed and would question returning based on this visit.

As per my policy, I have deeply investigated with the staff who was working during your stay in order to better understand the issues. Concerning to the TV channel that unfortunately was not working properly, I would like to apologize as this kind of issues should not have happened, but of course I have to emphasize that the staff went above and beyond in order to fix the problem. With reference to the wardrobe in the bathroom, as you have already experienced during the past stays, all our 106 rooms are different in shape, colour and size and if informed that this peculiarity did not correspond to your likings, we could have changed it promptly. Referring to the comment about the staff, as I am not able to understand the department you are writing about, I would like to ask you some further information. As you know, I always take into highly consideration all the comments of our esteemed Guests, in order to improve day by day our beloved work, when needed. Your comment about the basin blocked, allows me to clarify that I have talked to the staff who explained that the reason why this issue happened and it seemed that you made there the laundry and the weight of the clothes made it stuck. The issue was anyway fixed. Reading the comment about the shower’s sliding door, surprised me as we were not aware of it. I agree completely with you that all these issues should not have happened in a property of our category, but I also have to inform you kindly that the staff has suggested to chance the room, and you refuse saying that it was not worth it. On my side, I want to personally apologize for the problems you had, but I have to add that the staff went out of their way in order to try to make you live the best experience possible. I hope you can consider it as an anomalous and isolated case.On the other hand, I am more than glad to read that the breakfast was great and that you described its staff as an excellent one. I will share with the breakfast staff your so positive comment; I am sure they be honoured and encouraged by your remarks. As you accorded your preference to our property for so many times during the years, I hope to can assume that all your previous stays had completely satisfied your expectation and as a matter of fact let me express that I found your last comment a little strict. This is by far the nicest hotel I have ever stayed at! Elegant with a staff that treats you like a queen. Any request I had was quickly handled. Maid service, laundry service, front desk, doorman were all first class. The room even has linen sheets! I did not want to leave! Hotel Majestic is in its own a great reason to visit beautiful Bologna!!

There was constant scraping sounds day and night. It was very loud. It sounded like someone moving furniture around. No matter when we went to the room the sounds would happen over and over. My best description is chairs scraping across the floor. It was a very irritating sound that was consistent my entire stay. I was in a suite. It ruined the experience. I would not return. This was an expensive hotel not somewhere you would expect to have to deal with a noise problem. The sound was not from outside.

The public rooms of the hotel are lovely and beautifully maintained. The rooms have old world charm with modern amenities. The staff is gracious and accommodating.
