Our stay at the hotel was overall pleasant, but the buffet was a big disappointment. The food selection was very limited and lacked variety. There were plenty of vegetables and salads, but very few meat options and almost no seafood choices. The only seafood available was some small dried shrimp, which was not very appealing. It also seemed strange that there were several different kinds of onions, yet not enough main dishes to choose from.
Each day the buffet felt repetitive, and the overall selection was much smaller than expected for a hotel of this level. We were hoping for more options, especially more protein choices such as chicken, beef, fish, or other seafood.
The service at the buffet also needs improvement. Staff often did not clear used plates from the table in a timely manner, which made the dining experience less comfortable.
That being said, the hotel’s restaurants were actually very good. The food quality and service there were much better, and we enjoyed our meals at the restaurants much more than at the buffet.
