If you are looking for an aesthically pleasing, quiet and human contactless stay experience then go to the Villa Palmeras in Cancun. There pool was maintained twice in 4 days. There little activity room is hot and unmaintained. We stayed here 3 days and 4 nights. All of the days except for one we had no WIFI in our room. The television was completely in Spanish and had no WIFI connection.I am writing this review to express my extreme disappointment regarding my recent stay at Villa Palmeras. While a vacation should be a time of relaxation, the complete lack of basic service and the unprofessionalism of the management turned this experience into a significant source of frustration.
The most egregious issue was a total failure in guest assistance. We were locked out of the hotel for over thirty minutes with no immediate way to enter. When I reached out to the owner/manager for help, the response was shockingly hostile. Not only was she dismissive and rude, but she hung up on me multiple times during an active service crisis. To make matters worse, she later claimed that a staff member had assisted us—a blatant falsehood, as we remained stranded without meeting anyone.
The property suffered from a systemic lack of support across the board:
Zero Accountability: Despite being clearly short-staffed, there was no effort made to compensate for the lack of presence. Requests for help were met with indifference rather than solutions.
Failed Amenities: The Wi-Fi was non-existent,
