Mahtava palvelu, ihana vanha tunnelma.
Loistava hinta/laatusuhde. €140 meillä oli kahden makuuhuoneen & kylpyhuoneen asunto omalla keittiöllä ja valtavalla olohuoneella. Henkilökunta oli SUPER avuliaita. Green Pointin alue on lähellä De Waterkant & V&A Waterfrantia, illalla en kävelisi siellä kulmilla yksin tai kaksin, mutta taksit toimii.

Good price and quality
Nice rooms, and all equipments that you might need. But remember to ask power adapter from lobby or buy own one. Standard universal power converter / adapter won't work. This is hotel is not at water-front, but so close that you walk easily to there. Taxi is about 3-4 eur if need to come back during night. Been there at many hotels, but not worth to pay x times more when this kind high quality hotel is so nearby. Hotel has really nice rooftop Bar and polo with amazing views to city and beach.

The couch, carpet and chair in the lounge were filthy. The place also smelled like it was standing closed for months. We kept the door open constantly for fresh air. The bathrooms can also do with extractor fans. Coffee machine missing, as well as docking station, but there was a used (dirty) espresso cup on the counter when we arrived. Some towels had holes from old age. Only 2 teaspoons in the drawer, and when you needed a normal glass, you had to get one from the bed- or bathroom. The bar is now closed, and you couldn’t even buy a bottle of water at the hotel. All the staff that we dealt with were very friendly and helpful though.

So disappointed I cried
Not the room we booked, it was a massive New Years treat for us. Waited ages after check in for an alternative, expected more given that the penthouse we booked was ‘unavailable’ . Not impressed with trying to get us to sign for the alternative rooms with NO explanation. Still waiting to hear back from hotels.com!

Overpriced with maintenance issues
Not great. This apartment was over priced. We had to move rooms because there were so many things wrong with it. They were quite happy to move us we looked at 2 rooms which also not in good repair. We finally moved to one which we thought was in good working order, which was not. Air conditioning didn’t work, TV you could not watch, WiFi was shocking. Overall I would not come back again.

Good location. Terrible housekeeping: cleaners hung wet towel back onto rack, when we requested for change. For any request from housekeeping, one need to call several times. The only good housekeeper is Natalie.

Good location, with good restaurants within walking distance and a nearby supermarket. Amenities in room are never complete. Need to keep calling housekeeping to get what you need, and sometimes have to call many times to remind

No WIFI and phone connectivity and we had to physically go downstairs to reception to make numerous complaints. We were given a room that must have received a fresh coat of paint recently as there was a strong pungent smell. One of the bedside reading lamps was broken and so was the wardrobe railing. The security personnel was very unfriendly with the parking and made us park in specific lots, which changed each time we entered. It seemed to depend on the mood of the person in charge at that time. Somehow, he/she always chooses to emerge only after we have parked the car, switched off the engine and got out of the vehicle. It seemed to be timed to deliberately inconvenience us, to make us go back and move the car to the lot just next to the one we were in when there was plenty of room. There was no manager on duty that we could speak to and an email feedback to the Rooms Division went unanswered.

Excellent spot to stay. 10 minute walk from the waterfront. Staff were fantastic and just so helpful. Only negative was maybe location wasn't tge best to be walking by night. Beautiful rooms...could not fault the hotel itself. Thank you so so much for such a lovely stay x

Tolle Unterkunft in der Nähe der V&A Waterfront
Hotel/Apartmenthaus im etwas älteren Stil. Wir mögen zwar eher das moderne...es war aber erstaunlich schön :-) Das Apartment (2 Zimmer, Küche, Wohnzimmer, Essbereich) war sehr geräumig mit zwei Bädern und sauber. Es ist gut gelegen, da in wenigen Minuten zu Fuss die V&A Waterfront zu erreichen ist. Diese kann auch im Dunkeln zu Fuss besucht werden (mit Kindern). Wir hatten zu keiner Zeit in dieser Gegend irgendwelche Probleme. Die Mitarbeiter des Hotels sind jederzeit sehr hilfsbereit und zuvorkommend. Eine Bar im Hotel wäre wünschenswert!

LOVED IT!
Cape Royale staff, amenities, and location were all amazingly beyond expectations. The hotel was conveniently located near supermarkets, bakeries, and within walking distance to the waterfront. The rooms were spacious and clean, and packed with all kinds of kitchen appliances (even a washer/dryer!). It was (my husband and I) our first time to South Africa, and it certainly wouldn't be our last. We will definitely stay at Cape Royale again when we visit Cape Town.

Schönes Hotel mit super Lage - allerdings natürlich überhaupt nicht mit einem 5 Sterne-Hotel in Deutschland zu vergleichen ;) es ist schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen, wird aber gerade renoviert und die Zimmer im ersten Stock sind sehr dunkel, die oberen aber groß und schön. Wenn es windet, zieht es hier allerdings auch ziemlich. Preis-Leistungsvergältnis passt daher leider nicht ganz

Die Cape Town Region bietet eine Vielzahl von Attraktionen. Waterfront nah am Hotel. Das Cape Royale bietet große sehr saubere Zimmer mit sehr guten Betten. Appartement mit Küche und Sofaecke. Sehr gute Klimatisierung. Guter Empfang. Es fehlt eine schöne Bar als Treffpunkt und für die Atmosphäre.

Excelente hotel
Ótimo hotel com funcionários extremamente educados e cordiais. O quarto é enorme, além de ter uma bela vista para a Table Mountain. Possui uma cozinha completa com fogão, geladeira, micro-ondas, torradeira, máquina de café expresso, lava e seca, etc. Você se sente em um apartamento. Tudo muito limpo. A cama é grande e confortável e a roupa de cama e toalhas são de qualidade. Como era nossa lua de mel, eles prepararam uma decoração especial com pétalas de rosas na cama, além de chocolates e uma garrafa de espumante. Foi ótimo. O hotel fica a 10 minutos andando até o Waterfront e tem bons restaurantes e um supermercado bem pertinho também. Ótimo custo-benefício. Indico.

Nice hotel in a walk-able area with good restaurants nearby and quick shuttle ride to V&A Waterfront. The suites are very spacious with modern amenities.

Beautifull hotel
Close to V&A Waterfront with lot of things to do, like huge shoppingmall, restaurants and activities. Staff of hotel is very friendly and helpfull. Good start to explore South Africa.
