Very good experience. The hotel is clean and nicely located in the old part of Cape Town. They provide a free valet parking service, so you can easily arrive with your own car. The selection and quality of the breakfast is good (including ingredients such as fresh salmon and fruits). At the restaurant, I experienced minor difficulties with getting the drink I ordered (had a wrong drink brought to me a couple of times). Otherwise I was very satisfied and can recommend booking this hotel while visiting Cape Town.

If you’re looking to stay in the centre of Cape Town, at a 5 star hotel with amazing spa technicians, look no further. The staff were so friendly and courteous, the rooms were wonderful and we wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. Green market is a stroll away, the Water Shed and Water Front are just a short Uber Drive away (Willoughby & Co sushi is a must!) We had views of Table Mountain and Lion’s Head - the views were spectacular. Highly recommend.

Beautiful property with luxury at its best. MAJESTIC table mountain view from the 15th floor balcony was one of the best experiences. Breakfast buffet was extravagant with various indian cuisine options.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The only issue we had was when we wanted to charge to our room. We didn’t understand that we could only charge if we had sufficient funds prepaid. We were told that anything over that limit wouldn’t automatically be charged to our credit. The amount that was initially deposited wasn’t very much. It should have been explained better. We met another couple who had the same issue.

I have been a Taj Loyalist ever since a kid. This property while beautiful needs to fix the condition of its equipment. The hair dryer, attached to the drawer was very Inconvenient to use and broken as well. Housekeeping couldn’t provide me with a different one. The shower was leaking as well. While the Bombay Brassiere served good food, service was too slow. A solo diner , it took me 2.5 hrs for a meal, did t help that initdered vegetarian and they kept sending non- veg dishes out to my table. The breakfast the next day was worse, not a single server cane to ask me for my beverage order the entire time i was there, forget about asking the special of the day and getting it frsh made from the kitchen. I grabbed a croissant and OJ and it wa sin and out. Not looking for a repeat stay here. Plenty of newer hotels that have way better service.
