The staff was power washing kitchen containers at 1:30am in the morning for over an hour in total. I called the front desk and the gentleman was very nice and said he would look into it. After 30 minutes of power washing and multiple guests trying to figure out why they were being waken up at 1:30am by this horrible sound. I received no call back from the front desk. I got dressed and went to the front desk and a employee said that the night shift has a job to do and their was nothing they could do about it. Mind you at this point although I was extremely upset, I remained polite. I said the power washing was incredibly loud and waking up the entire side of the hotel. (Now keep in kind that a commercial power washer at 1:30 am, is to say the least very startling when you are sound asleep) They said well, you seem to be the only one complaining about it, and there was nothing they could do about... WOW!!
Now I was no longer polite.I said yes there is, refund my money because Im leavng this rude hotel now!! The place was also dirty and old. I was on the 8th floor and could hear everything below, guessing because the building was old and outdated. Bottom line, I never stay at a Holiday Inn EVER AGAIN. Just Plain rude!!
