”What a beautiful place this is! Absolutely amazing scenery. Quiet and relaxing. Breakfast is included and we were expecting a cold buffet. Oh no, full English or really, whatever you wanted. We went for poached eggs on toast and they were perfect. I would certainly recommend this beautiful little part of Cheshire. ”

Had a nice meal in restaurant. Good selection. Pork dish had to be sent back as meat pink in middle. Not ideal. But fish delicious.

We initially booked a standard room at a very good price especially as it included breakfast, However the standard bedrooms have a shower over the bath and so anyone with mobility issues might find this difficult to access. We paid for an upgrade and what a wonderful Superior room it was. Huge with a long bathroom with bath and a double shower and beautifully soft towels...
