”What really stood out was how incredibly fast the team reacted when we realised the bedding contained feathers – entirely our oversight for not requesting a change before arrival. The staff were unfailingly kind and accommodating throughout our stay. It’s a beautiful hotel, and our suite was absolutely gigantic. We loved it! ”

”Location / location etc. Very clean and as always very well furnished room . Would have preferred Tatton , but it's always booked . Staff excellent , shame the 'Pheasant Golden Ale' is no longer available . Even in wet grey weather , it's a great place to stay .”

”Lovely pub, friendly staff. We only stayed 1 night but the rooms were very clean and had everything you needed. The breakfast was cooked beautifully and really tasty. We would have had diner there but unfortunately it was the Christmas market on within Tarvin that evening so no food was served other than a stall outside. Free parking for people staying in the pub. Within a 15 min drive into Chester - Wouldn’t hesitate to go back. An enjoyable if not brief visit. ”
