My thoughtfully decorated 2 bedroom 2nd floor home in a 3-flat located in a quiet residential neighborhood is just a few block from the lake and beaches. Enjoy the TV room, 6 person dining room table, chefs kitchen, and plenty of space for conversations and entertaining. Please note this is unit #2 so there is one flight of stairs to access the unit. Walking distance to the lake and all that Rogers Park has to offer

Please enter through the front vestibule (1503 W. Estes #1 & #2) and go to door #2 (for this second floor unit, not the first floor unit). Enter your lock code and then hit the silver "Yale" button to lock and unlock the door. head up one flight of stairs and you are home!

There are newly refinished hardwood floors throughout (except in the primary bedroom that is carpeted). My whole home has been freshly repainted and decorated with a lot of personality! Enjoy some of the treasures I have collected during my travels all over. I especially love collecting unique art. Relax in the oversized primary bedroom flooded with natural light and amply closet space. Both bedrooms have hypoallergenic hotel quality pillows. In addition I also have left a set of wonderful natural down filled pillows for those with no worries about allergies (in the woven baskets in the bedrooms). The primary bathroom has a separate shower and jetted tub. The kitchen is fully stocked with almost any appliance you may need (even a KitchenAid stand mixer). Enjoy central AC and radiant heat as needed throughout the year. The newly remodeled 2nd bathroom even features a fully automated bidet.

I encourage you to spend time gazing into my aquarium. The longer you look the more you discover! I have sent years building my little ecosystem and you are guaranteed to see something new every time you look at it. From crabs, corals, fish, & shrimp the tank is teeming with life. Sit and stare and enjoy but please please DO NOT TOUCH. They are sensitive to the oils and chemicals we cary on our hands so please enjoy but be respectful.

For little ones we have provided a highchair, crib, and baby gates.

There is laundry available in the basement with complimentary detergent. Please note the laundry is in an unfinished basement and shared by all units.

The check-in and check-out processes are easy thanks to our keyless code access. Also, the check-in and check-out times can be flexible depending on availability.

While you are in my home I usually stay nearby and am available to help with any special requests or help.

We have a strict NO SMOKING, NO PARTYING, and NO EVENTS in the building policy (you are of course welcome to host small dinner parties or get-togethers of 8 people or less) as we have tenants below on the 1st floor. We ask guests to be respectful by keeping noisy levels reasonable during their stay. The units are completely separated from each other, and each one has its own entrance.

Please note you will hear the occasional squeaks or creeks typical of a building of this age.

CTA Red Line stop is just a couple of clocks away. As are several bus lines.

Parking is available upon request, please notify me before check-in. if parking is needed. I can provide EV charging for your vehicle if requested in advance. It is a level 2 charger with an SAE J1772 jack. I so not have an NACS adapter so you will have to provide your own. Please note we only have parking for compact to midsized cars and SUV's. We do not have parking for large trucks or oversized SUV's (no king cab trucks or for Expedition size vehicles). Please use street parking if your vehicle is oversized.

If you have more than one vehicle street parking is available and is free and not zoned.

Please note this is a second floor unit in a 1908 Chicago 3-flat. Please be respectful of our neighbors on the 1st & 3rd floors.

Housekeeping is available for an additional $150 per visit. They will turn over all linens, wash dishes, and clean for you.

You will always have plenty of notice, but if you are staying longer than a week there will be a service that comes for approximately one hour to service the aquarium and ensure it is in good health. You are free to request I cancel or delay this until after your stay is over if you do not wish to be disturbed.
